Program Description:

China: Liaocheng University

ChinaQualified Warren Wilson students will have the opportunity to spend a semester at Liaocheng University in this highly immersive program. The primary focus of the program is on Chinese language and culture. Liaocheng University is located in Shandong province, an area not commonly visited by Western tourists or students. This program is particularly suitable for Global Studies majors or others desiring a culturally-challenging experience. Prior Chinese language study is not required, but it is helpful. In addition to Warren Wilson academic tuition, students studying abroad on exchange programs should expect to pay an additional $1,500 - $5,500 for travel, housing, and meals.  Students should also inquire about their eligibility to receive funding support from International Programs Office towards their travel and housing expenses on this program. Most student are eligible to receive between $500-$2,000. There is a $75 non-refundable application fee and an international program fee of $450.
