Program Description:
 

This 18-credit, cohort-based outdoor experience allows students freedom from the typical constraints of class/work schedules in order to immerse more deeply in the natural world. Students will gain primary experience with leadership, facilitation and outdoor skills while traveling in the Blue Ridge mountains. The skills and experiences gained in this semester are applicable to a wide range of jobs, careers and college majors. All of the included courses are required for the ODL major and also count towards the Outdoor Business major. Any student who completes the semester can earn an ODL minor with one additional course (ODL 1000).
